Author's note

Fleurons A font by S. G. Moye is a free dingbat art typeface that turns ornamental details into a keyboard-ready toolkit. Each glyph is a tiny block of inky decoration-from crisp starburst sprays and petal clusters to dense, mirror-like flourishes-so you can drop in a divider, corner piece, or emblem without hunting through clip-art folders. The shapes feel solid and print-friendly, with enough contrast to stand out even at small sizes.

Using Fleurons A, you can quickly dress up invitations, chapter openers, certificates, restaurant menus, boutique packaging, and vintage-inspired logos. The repeating motifs make it easy to build borders and frames that look hand-set, not generic. For a balanced layout, pair this free font with a simple serif or sans for text and let the fleurons handle the ornament, keeping them a notch larger than your body type for a confident, finished look.
