Author's note

Florence by Sascha Timplan of Stereotypes is a free decorative display font with an unusually tall, narrow silhouette and pronounced changes in stroke width. Its softly bowed letters and rounded ends keep the design lively.

Independent cafes, fashion labels, and arts venues could build an offbeat brand around it, using the stretched forms across menus, packaging, signage, and event posters. The lettering can become a recurring product mark, with its uneven curves echoing hand-drawn illustrations on coffee bags or music merchandise and tying each item back to the same recognizable source.
