Author's note

Folk Shadow by Marcelo Magalhaes is a free cartoon outline display font with tall, uneven capitals. The loose contours and changing stroke widths resemble lettering cut and drawn by hand. A slight offset shadow gives the shapes extra depth without hiding their open interiors.

It can turn a title into part of an illustrated scene, especially for children's entertainment or lighthearted comics. Posters and game graphics benefit from the broad silhouettes and lively irregularity. The hand-built forms are especially suited to folk tales, classroom stories, and playful adventure themes.
