Author's note

Formal Baybayin 1 is a free Baybayin-inspired display font with broad, spare forms and pronounced changes in stroke width. Its rounded cups, upright bars, and small diamond-like marks create a formal, calligraphic silhouette, with several strokes ending in crisp horizontal caps.

Its script reference suits cultural event posters, museum graphics, and publishing projects concerned with Filipino history or language. It is especially convincing in heritage branding, where the letterforms can function as an emblem rather than ordinary Latin text lettering.
