Found Receipt, designed by Zach Risso of FSI FontShop International GmbH, is a free dot-matrix display font built from evenly spaced round pixels. Its open grid construction recalls punched paper, early electronic signs, and imperfect receipt printing. Rounded letterforms keep the mechanical pattern surprisingly approachable.
The dotted texture can echo halftone photographs, ticket perforations, or simple pixel illustrations in posters, music packaging, event graphics, and game interfaces. In editorial design, it is especially apt for section titles or cover lines about digital culture, retail, archives, and other subjects tied to printed records.
