Author's note

Fox Grunge 2 font by Phil Campbell is a free brush font that looks like it’s been ripped straight from a scratched, inky notebook. Letters splinter into rough streaks and overlapping strokes, with uneven curves that feel fast, loud, and a little unhinged. There’s a raw, hand-scrawled energy here that makes clean layouts feel suddenly dangerous-in a good way.

Using Fox Grunge 2, you can crank up the attitude on gig posters, zines, horror covers, streetwear graphics, album art, and edgy social banners. The loose spacing and chaotic strokes grab attention at large sizes, so keep it big and bold, then pair this free font with a plain, narrow sans serif to keep supporting text readable and let the grunge take center stage.
