Author's note

Fracta SemiBold Italic by Fabian Pfeifhofer is a free medieval blackletter font with sharply cut strokes and a strong forward slant. Its broken curves, pointed joins, and uneven ink-like edges give the lettering the look of vigorous pen work.

Those blade-like forms connect readily with heraldic creatures and dark fantasy illustration, making the font useful for game packaging and event posters. It feels theatrical rather than solemn. Album covers and fashion merchandise can use the same angular silhouette.
