Author's note

Fraktur by Digital Type Foundry is a free blackletter font with the dense, formal bearing of medieval manuscript lettering. Broad dark strokes narrow abruptly into fine hairlines, and repeated diamond points give the letters a crisp, cut-paper silhouette.

Historical publishing is its strongest setting, especially for book covers and chapter openers built around folklore, heraldry, or early European themes. The theatrical shapes also suit metal music merchandise, period-event posters, and fantasy game graphics, where the lettering can function as part of the emblem rather than as neutral text in those settings.
