Author's note

Frames by Lime 2000 is a free ornamental frame dingbat font built from elaborate borders, corner pieces, and theatrical cartouches with a lively hand-drawn irregularity. Leaves, cords, and carved-looking figures recur across the varied designs.

Publishing gives these ornaments a useful role in chapter openers and invitation borders, where the frame becomes part of the illustration rather than a simple edge around text. They also suit event posters and period-style packaging because the foliage, knotted rails, and mask-like forms can echo the decorative subjects used throughout the printed project.
