Author's note

Franchise Bold is a free condensed sans serif with tall, tightly packed caps, hard flat-cut edges, and small rounded sections that keep its severe outline from looking completely starkly geometric. The letters feel narrow, firm, and purposeful.

Sports team branding is its clearest home, and the compressed forms also suit stadium signage, athletic apparel, game covers, and retail product packaging. Those flat-cut tops and long upright strokes recall painted block lettering on scoreboards, uniform marks, and industrial equipment labels.
