Author's note

Freak Show font by Levi is a free decorative western serif typeface that stomps across the page like a bold carnival banner. Heavy, inky letterforms with scalloped bottoms and playful spurs give it that roaming sideshow vibe, while the quirky cutouts in the curves add just enough oddity to feel dangerous and fun at once. It’s loud, theatrical, and designed to grab attention from across the midway.

Using Freak Show, your headlines instantly feel like vintage circus posters or old traveling-show placards. This free font works beautifully for event posters, Halloween graphics, themed bar or brewery branding, ride or attraction signage, t‑shirt graphics, and retro book or album covers. For readability, keep it big and pair it with a simple, unadorned sans serif for body copy.
