Author's note

Freaky Night by Xerographer Fonts is a free scary display font with broad, uneven letters that seem to sag and drip at the edges. Its blunt weight, pinched gaps, and ragged lower contours create a messy horror-comic silhouette, with enough variation between characters to suggest hand-cut lettering rather than polished type, and its leaning shapes keep the line unsettled.

It suits both Halloween candy packaging and underground music merchandise. For horror film posters and haunted-house event flyers, the melting strokes can become part of the artwork itself, resembling ooze, candle wax, or a painted sign pulled from a cheap midnight creature feature.
