Author's note
Dee, designed by Matthew Burvill of HouseOfBurvo, is a free isometric techno display font built from angular, three-dimensional letterforms that resemble folded structures or compact architectural models. Broad shadowed faces, sharp changes of direction, and fine inset lines make the forms look simultaneously solid and diagrammatic, with a crisp, precise retro-computer edge.
Futuristic cities, circuitry, and engineered objects are natural subjects for Dee, making it especially apt for science-fiction game graphics, electronic music posters, technology branding, and experimental editorial covers that treat type as part of the illustrated world. Across these uses, the shared link is its modular architectural construction.
