Author's note

Fresko by Andrea Cerboneschi and Katiuscia Mari of Fresko Design is a free ultra-heavy sans serif with towering, tightly packed letters. Its broad vertical strokes, compact curves, and sharply clipped joins give the lettering a dense, architectural silhouette.

Festival posters and sports merchandise both benefit from its forceful scale and blunt, emphatic shapes. It also suits club signage and music packaging. Against photography or bold geometric patterns, the tall letter shapes can become part of the image rather than a neutral caption.
