Author's note

Futura Rener by Bastien Sozoo is a free informal display font with broad, uneven letterforms and a deliberately drawn quality. Rounded stroke ends, shifting widths, and slightly lopsided shapes give the alphabet the lively informality of homemade signage.

It is most convincing on posters, where the irregular silhouette can become part of the main graphic. Children's publishing and casual food packaging also suit its friendly, unpolished forms. In event graphics or merchandise, the lettering can act as illustration itself, turning a name into a loose emblem.
