Author's note

Futurex Bugz, created by Jeri Ingalls of Apostrophic Laboratories, is a free futuristic display font built from looping curves and stark crossbars. Its letters resemble modular symbols, with open joins and hook-like forms that make the alphabet feel mechanical and insect-like. Stroke widths stay even, so the unusual shapes retain a clean, diagrammatic finish.

Designers working in electronic music, science fiction, or experimental fashion could use it for posters, merchandise, and branding with an invented-script aesthetic. It has a distinctly coded look. The font is most convincing when the lettering becomes a logo-like emblem rather than ordinary copy.
