Author's note

Futurex Distro - Survival by Peter Ramsey of The L'ab is a free distressed brush display font with blunt, hand-painted letterforms. Ragged edges, uneven stroke widths, and scattered flecks give the lettering the look of hurried paint or worn ink.

Packaging is a strong setting for its raw texture, especially on hot sauce labels or rugged outdoor products. It suits punk concert posters, where the rough strokes can echo photocopied graphics. Horror merchandise can use that damage to suggest decay.
