Author's note

Futurex Transmaat, credited to Monk and Graham Meade of Apostrophic Labs, is a free eroded techno display font with broad, rounded letterforms. Its sturdy geometry is broken by chipped edges and scattered horizontal scratches that resemble worn electronic signage. The damage is coarse and deliberate.

A science-fiction game interface is its strongest setting, where the squared curves and distressed surface can suggest aging machinery. The same industrial texture suits music posters, streetwear graphics, and packaging for electronics or energy drinks. Across these uses, the recurring cuts turn the lettering into a printed or screen-worn artifact rather than a clean futuristic label.
