Author's note

Galactica S Thin Stripes by Jens Cherukad is a free digital display font with an austere, futuristic build. Tall, narrow letters are cut into slim vertical strokes, with gaps and small striped sections interrupting their outlines. The result feels coded and mechanical.

Space-age technology is its clearest subject, making it suited to science-fiction posters and game interfaces. The broken, signal-like forms also suit electronic music artwork and experimental magazine covers. For a tech label or entertainment brand, the lettering can become part of the product identity.
