Gauche Display Hollow by Rob Barba of Megami Studios is a free calligraphic outline display font with sweeping curves and pronounced shifts between broad and hairline strokes. Its open interiors make the lettering look airy and finely engraved.
It can create an elegant wordmark for a fashion label or perfume package, drawing on the flourish and ceremony of formal penmanship. The hollow construction also suits wedding invitations because the letters act almost like drawn ornament rather than filled text. On book covers and album packaging, the same fine contours can echo border work, decorative line art, or period-inspired illustration.
