Author's note

Gauche Display, designed by Megami Studios, is a free calligraphic display font shaped by the sweeping confidence of formal italic lettering and the drama of fashion mastheads. Broad curves meet hairline joins and sharply tapered finishes.

Fashion photography and luxury packaging gain a strong editorial voice from its broad curves and abrupt hairlines, whose changing weight recalls folded fabric, ink gestures, and sharply cut silhouettes. In publishing, it suits magazine covers and art books with a theatrical or couture focus, while invitations can use the long flourishes as part of borders, monograms, or other drawn ornament within a wider illustrated scheme.

Description
Gauche Display is a "tasteless and awkward" script font for those who don't exactly want sophistication in their typographic script usage. In other words, it sucks on purpose.

If you do use it, drop me a line at rob@megamistudios.com. I'd like to see where it pops up!
