Author's note

Gausshauss by Nils Merkel is a free condensed sans serif with an architectural, deliberately uneven build. Tall capitals sit beside slimmer lowercase forms, and changing stroke widths give the lettering a lively cadence.

A contemporary gallery or design studio could use it for branding that feels precise without looking corporate. Its narrow proportions also suit exhibition posters, magazine covers, and cultural event graphics. Here, the contrast between broad curves and pinched strokes can become part of the brand identity.
