Author's note

GE Curves from Boutros International is a free sign dingbat font made from solid, compact forms. Rounded outer edges soften the otherwise blunt geometry, and the repeated dark shapes have the directness of practical symbols. The marks feel dense and immediate.

Signage and editorial infographics can both use this plain visual shorthand, with maps and event programs also benefiting from symbols that read as graphic objects. Its strongest role is wayfinding, where the sturdy silhouettes can function as a coordinated family of markers rather than ordinary lettering.
