Author's note

GE Tye, designed by Mourad Boutros of Boutros International, is a free Arabic text typeface with sturdy, closely joined forms. Broad strokes and restrained curves give the writing a dense, practical texture.

Arabic-language publishers and public institutions will find it suited to editorial pages, formal reports and informational signage in both print and digital settings, where its firm shapes keep material matter-of-fact. The same compact construction also fits cultural event programs and educational materials, letting headings and supporting text share one consistent voice throughout substantial bilingual print and digital projects.
