Author's note

Georgiquas, designed by Benoit Sjoholm in 2012, is a free geometric sans serif with broad, cleanly drawn capitals. Its nearly even stroke weight and generous width give the lettering a calm, engineered appearance. Wide circular forms and sharp triangular joins keep the silhouette crisp rather than mechanical.

Architecture, transport, and contemporary culture provide a natural setting for its orderly geometry and measured, confident pace. It can shape city branding, exhibition posters, editorial covers, and wayfinding with a distinctly metropolitan, forward-looking voice. The expansive proportions are especially convincing in printed design about modern buildings, public space, urban life, and civic systems.
