Author's note

German Beauty by Tom Raaijmakers is a free comic display font with sharply uneven lettering and an unruly cut-paper look. Its letters lurch between broad curves and narrow spikes, with changing stroke widths and exaggerated proportions keeping the line deliberately unsettled.

Absurdist comedy and mischievous children's stories suit its restless drawing. It also suits indie comic covers, festival posters, and alternative music merchandise, where the crooked shapes can echo loose illustration. In editorial design, it can turn a feature title into part of the artwork.
