Gilgalad by Tibor Lantos is a free modern blackletter font with a severe, angular profile. Tall vertical strokes and sharply cut corners give the letters the look of carved panels. Narrow joins and abrupt diamond-like turns keep the forms taut rather than ornamental.
A fantasy publisher or game studio could use it for cover titles, campaign graphics, and faction branding, especially when the setting calls for an austere medieval edge. The same hard-edged construction also suits metal merchandise and event posters, linking imagined history with a colder contemporary Gothic style.
