Author's note

Glaukous - Paukous font by Richard Parker & Apostrophic Labs is a free distorted display typeface that looks like ink dropped in water and caught mid-swirling. Each letter melts into bulbous blobs and curling tendrils, creating a sense of motion that feels a little toxic, a little psychedelic. The dense, inky shapes hold together surprisingly well, so even at a distance the word-image hits like a strange, living logo.

Using Glaukous - Paukous, you can push horror posters, Halloween promos, glitchy event flyers, experimental album covers, zine titles, and eerie game logos into truly uncanny territory. This free font shines biggest at large sizes, where the oozy curves and swollen spots read like organic silhouettes; pair it with a very clean geometric sans in small text to anchor all that visual chaos.
