Gnome Splinters by Andrew McCluskey is a free modern Gothic display font with towering narrow capitals and a severe cut-paper silhouette. Long verticals are split by blade-like wedges, and the changing stroke widths make the lettering look fractured rather than mechanically uniform.
Music posters are a natural setting for its jagged scale and tense vertical pull. The same splintered shapes suit horror game graphics, experimental album covers, and dark festival merchandise, with letters that resemble torn or weapon-like imagery. For event branding or a niche product label, the sharp cuts can become a recurring emblem across signs, packaging, and promotional artwork.
