Godric, designed by Manuel Leiria of FontStruct, is a free blackletter display font with a blunt, angular take on medieval lettering. Broad strokes, pointed feet, and geometric cuts give each letter a carved silhouette.
Designers working in fantasy, metal music, or historical entertainment can use it for posters, game graphics, and merchandise, where the dense shapes quickly establish the genre. The notched forms echo castle stonework and heraldic emblems, so the lettering can become part of an illustration.
