Author's note

Gothferatu by J. Bensch is a free medieval blackletter font with an unusually severe and theatrical profile. Its very tall letters combine blade-like strokes, deep pointed arches, exaggerated feet, and tightly compressed joins to form a dense, almost architectural pattern that recalls ornate Gothic title lettering.

Dark fantasy and horror themes are its clearest territory, especially for film posters, album covers, and game graphics. The dramatic silhouette also suits merchandise and entertainment branding, where the lettering can become part of a vampire, haunted-castle, or heavy-metal identity rather than serving as neutral text.
