Author's note

Gothic Majuscles by Vespasiano Amphiareo and M. Klein is a free ornamental blackletter font with the formal sweep of Renaissance calligraphy. Its sharply changing stroke widths, curled flourishes, and striped interior cuts make the capitals resemble hand-drawn initials from an old manuscript.

Historical publishers and heritage brands could use it for book covers, exhibition graphics, or period packaging rooted in an engraved, ceremonial aesthetic. It is especially convincing in editorial titles and invitations, and the decorative cuts can echo woodcut borders or heraldic illustration.
