Author's note

Grand Prix by Ray Meadows is a free checkered display font built from squared, outlined capitals. Its racing pattern fills each broad stroke, with clipped corners and rigid geometry recalling trackside flags and vintage motorsport graphics.

Its racing reference suits motorsport event posters and team merchandise. It can also turn arcade game graphics, automotive branding, or sports packaging into part of the racing theme, using the checkered letters as both lettering and a recognizable graphic motif.
