Author's note

Greek, a free Hellenic serif by Peter J. Gentry and Andrew M. Fountain, draws on classical Greek lettering with a quiet, bookish feel. The letters mix old-world inscriptional grace with distinctly rounded forms - especially the open, epsilon-like e shapes and the delicate hooked details - so the font feels historical without turning stiff or monumental.

It suits museum graphics, mythology or history book covers, cultural event posters, chapter openers, and title cards where a classical note should feel human rather than severe. As a free font, it also makes sense for logos, monograms, and short editorial headings, because those unusual Greek-flavored curves give even a few letters a clear period voice.
