Grobsidian ExtraBlack by Matt Grey of Matt Grey Design is a free extra-black geometric sans serif with an imposing architectural silhouette. Its broad capitals shift between circular masses, sheer verticals, and sharp triangular cuts. Tight joins and deep internal notches make the lettering look custom-built rather than simply oversized.
Abstract collage shapes have a clear counterpart in these letters. For poster artwork, album packaging, fashion branding, music events, and title cards, the huge circles, sheer edges, and pointed cutaways can repeat through photographs, patterns, or icons and turn the type into a central piece of the graphic concept across each campaign.
