Growly Grin by S. John Ross of Cumberland Fontworks is a free eroded display font with blunt, towering letters. Its uneven edges and scattered pits resemble ink dragged across rough paper or a battered rubber stamp. Soft corners make the dense capitals seem less strictly mechanical.
It turns a horror-comedy title into a rough printed mark rather than neutral lettering. The worn surface suits gig posters and food packaging. Its strongest role is poster lettering that combines heavy, condensed forms with the dirt of imperfect print.
