Author's note

Grutch Line is Steeve Gruson's free handwritten font, and it leans into a light, airy script mood with long, drifting strokes. The letters feel casually drawn in one fine line, with broad curves and tall, simple forms that give the font an open, almost absent-minded elegance.

That makes it a natural fit for fashion tags, indie poster titles, gallery invites, quiet packaging, and blog mastheads where a free font can carry a personal note without getting fussy. It works best in short phrases, cover lines, and title cards, because those stretched curves and spare line weight give even a few words plenty of atmosphere.
