Author's note

Guilinemboss by Otto Maurer is a free distorted display font with tall, uneven letters that look cut and scraped into shape. Long vertical strokes give the design a stark silhouette, and broken edges leave narrow flashes of open space inside many forms. The shifting widths and abrupt curves keep the lettering tense and unpredictable.

It is strongest on horror posters, album covers, and game title screens, where its fractured construction can suggest damage, menace, or supernatural unease. On apparel graphics and event flyers, the letters can become part of a slashed or torn image rather than serving as neutral text.
