Author's note

GVB Metro PID by Jeffrey Visser is a free digital stencil font modeled on segmented passenger information displays. Tall, narrow letters are cut into blocky sections with sharp gaps and angular curves. The construction feels distinctly mechanical.

Transit operators and transport-themed brands can use it for signage, wayfinding graphics, and merchandise. Its display-board structure also fits game interfaces and event posters built around urban travel or public infrastructure. The repeated breaks are more than decoration, since they let the lettering echo the modular tiles and illuminated segments found in station displays.
