Author's note

Hallandale JL, designed by Jeffrey N. Levine of Jeff's Fonts and Dingbats, is a free futuristic display font built from slim, geometric strokes. Its tall letters combine squared corners with rounded arch shapes and unusually low crossbars. The result recalls streamlined signage and machine-age lettering without extra ornament.

Signage makes the most of its upright structure, and the same precise geometry suits science-fiction posters, electronic music packaging, and game interfaces. It will appeal most to designers working in retro-futurist entertainment and technology branding.
