Happy Phantom Italic by Lauren Thompson of Nymphont is a free high-contrast serif with a pronounced forward lean. Broad, sweeping curves meet very fine hairlines, giving the capitals an elegant but slightly theatrical silhouette. The lowercase forms are loose and lively.
Boutique fashion labels could use it for logos and packaging that favor elegance over restraint. Its fluid slant also suits literary magazine covers and invitation design. These settings share an audience drawn to expressive, fashion-conscious typography with a hint of old-world drama.
