Author's note

Happy Phantom Demi by Lauren Thompson is a free retro display serif with sturdy slab-like caps and softer rounded lowercase forms. Strong thick-thin changes, blunt serifs, and deep descenders give the lettering a jaunty vintage silhouette reminiscent of mid-century advertising without copying a formal period face.

Food packaging is its strongest setting, especially for cheerful cafe labels. The same warm, slightly odd proportions suit event posters, children's publishing, and merchandise, linking these uses through their shared reference to cheerful vintage shop signs.
