Harald Runic by David Kerkhoff is a free runic dingbat font built from stark, hand-drawn strokes. Its symbols combine upright bars, sharp branches, and occasional enclosed wedges, recalling carved marks without copying a polished inscription. Rounded stroke ends soften the otherwise severe geometry.
Their spear and twig shapes suit illustrated fantasy maps. The same cut-mark forms can become emblems in historical event posters, music merchandise, or woodland packaging, tying lettering directly to the artwork.
