Author's note
Hardcorium by GYOMSEGS is a free distressed blackletter font with a battered, confrontational look. Its broad medieval forms are cut by sharp angles, chipped edges, and dense patches of erosion. Ink-like spatters and ragged streaks make the letters resemble damaged gig posters or markings scraped onto a wall.
Metal and hardcore audiences will recognize the battered lettering used across album artwork and concert posters. The broken texture also fits horror games. For merchandise and event graphics, the dark medieval shapes can become part of a rough emblem, with the scattered debris extending into surrounding artwork as scratched dust.
