Head Case from TattooWoo.com is a free curly display font with oversized loops and sharply tapered strokes. Decorative hatching cuts through the heavier curves and lends them a scratched tattoo-flash texture. The forms twist and overlap dramatically.
Its hatched curves echo pen-and-ink illustration, a close match for tattoo studio posters and album artwork. The looping silhouettes also suit fashion packaging and event graphics, where the lettering can become part of the ornament. In magazine publishing, it is best suited to expressive feature openers with an underground art theme.
