Heffer Font

Heffer by Michael Tension is a free distorted Western display font built from tall, blocky slab-serif letters. Its uneven edges and pinched joins recall roughly cut wood type, with small shifts in width and irregular letter heights keeping the forms deliberately restless. The silhouette is tough and theatrical.

Frontier stories, outlaw imagery, and rustic Americana give this lettering its clearest setting, making it useful for Western posters, game graphics, and themed event material. It is also a convincing choice for saloon branding and rustic novelty packaging, where the warped, oversized slabs can function like hand-painted sign lettering rather than polished commercial type.
