Author's note

Heimchen Black by Boris Moser is a free distorted display font built from dense, irregular letterforms with a rough cut-paper silhouette. Broad rounded masses collide with abrupt points, slanted cuts, and uneven edges, so the lettering feels handmade and unruly rather than drawn on a consistent geometric frame, as some forms look swollen and others break into angular fragments.

Its torn-shape quality connects readily with collage artwork on posters. For children's entertainment, snack packaging, and music merchandise, the letters can become illustrated creatures, masks, or chunky emblems, using their lopsided outlines as part of the picture instead of serving only as text.
