Author's note

Hellawood by Max Infeld of Xerographer.com is a free eroded display font with tall, compressed capitals. Uneven vertical cuts turn each letter into a rough field of stripes. The silhouettes remain forceful despite the extensive abrasion.

Horror film titles and punk album covers gain a torn-poster harshness from the damaged strokes. Its raw texture also fits skate merchandise and Halloween event graphics. Poster work is its strongest setting, turning dense lettering into part of the distressed image.
