Author's note

Hemigraphy is a free retro display font shaped by the sleek geometry of 1970s futuristic lettering. Tall monoline letters combine broad circular turns, squared arches, and abrupt right-angle cuts, with narrow joins and generous interior openings keeping the otherwise substantial forms crisp, mechanical, and remarkably even across a line.

It suits record sleeves and fashion branding equally well. That same disciplined construction also suits magazine covers, festival posters, and cultural event programs, and the lettering can recur as a graphic motif throughout stories about design, architecture, electronic music, or vintage technology, especially when the typography becomes part of the page furniture.
