Author's note

Herald Square Two, designed by Nick Curtis, is a free Art Deco display font built from broad geometric capitals. Offset outlines and deep block shadows make the letters resemble layered theater signage. Curves and sharp diagonals keep the construction streamlined.

Its Jazz Age cinema character fits event posters and entertainment branding. The same period detail suits restaurant packaging and music artwork. It speaks most directly to designers pursuing a polished vintage show-business look.
